2019 Schedule Takes Shape; USAC Midgets Coming To Kutztown's Action Track USA In July
For the third consecutive year, the season opener at Championship Energy Action Track USA on the Kutztown Fairgrounds will occur on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12. And, while fans eagerly anticipate every event at the progressively banked, ultra-competitive clay oval, there is one date on the upcoming calendar's slate of races that will certainly be circled by fans and competitors alike.

DIRTcar Racing track promoters from across the Northeast came together Saturday morning in advance of the DIRTcar Night of Champions to establish the foundation and direction for the 2019 racing season under new Super DIRTcar Series and DIRTcar Northeast Director Dean Reynolds. DIRTcar's mission statement is to continue leading the way in competition, safety and professionalism.
SEAVEY SAVES BEST FOR LAST AT BAKERSFIELD, CLINCHES USAC NATIONAL MIDGET TITLE
For 29 and three-quarters of a lap, Logan Seavey was staring straight at the tail tank of his teammate Rico Abreu's car as he followed him lap-after-lap around the Bakersfield Speedway 1/3-mile dirt oval. But all it took was one quarter, and one big run off the high side of turn four, for Seavey to race around the 2014 series champ for the lead and score his third victory of the year by a .292-second margin.
Champions and Family Celebrated at 2018 Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series Banquet
In racing, family is what ties it together. At Saturday night's Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series Banquet, the racing family was celebrated as over $250,000 in cash and contingencies were handed out. The event again played host to over 500 guests at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa, and was emceed by track announcers Tony Bokhoven and Kris Krug.
