Lindsay Barney Scores Top Five At Herz Precision Parts Wingless Nationals In Cottage Grove
Eagle Creek, Oregon- Cottage Grove Speedway would host the biggest Non-Wing Sprint Car race in the Pacific Northwest with the Herz Precision Parts Wingless Nationals on Saturday, July 7th. Lindsay Barney would look to improve off her one and only career Nationals effort, a ninth in 2017.
"We've ran good at Cottage Grove the two times we've finished there," commented Barney.
The Eagle Creek native started thirteenth in the lineup for the fifty-lap feature. As the race progressed Lindsay move forward one spot at a time. For a long period of time she would be in and out of the top five but eventually managed to secure fifth. There she would remain for the rest of the distance to record her fourth top five finish of the season with the Wingless Sprint Series. She also earned the Speedmart Inc. Hard Charger Award.
